Home infusion therapy is the administration of intravenous (through a vein) medication, such as antibiotics, nutrition, steroids (and many others) to patients in their own homes or in independent, private infusion suites. Small, portable pumps which allow medication to be administered to the patient through an IV line make it possible for many to go about their normal daily activities while receiving their medicine.

Patients who receive home infusion therapy are able to resume and maintain daily activities, take an active role in their own care, and even return to work. These activities offer significant emotional benefits that, in turn, facilitate healing. In addition to these benefits, home infusion is a highly cost-effective approach and the vast majority of insurance plans cover it.

Our medications are produced in our state-of-the-art facility which meets and exceeds all state and federal standards. We provide services and care to Northern Nevada community members with acute or chronic conditions who require medications, biologics, and nutrition administered intravenously while maintaining a high functioning lifestyle.

What is Home Infusion Therapy?

about us

Take a look at our private infusion suites -- definitely not your "typical" medical setting, right? So far, our patients who have used them are very happy with the level of service and comfort we provide. Our infusion suites include recliners, free WiFi, TVs, and light refreshments.

"The best infusion site in Nevada, if I can help it I will always come here!"

what patients are saying

Nevada Infusion is a locally owned, home infusion pharmacy. Owners, Gary and Julie Brooks were both born and raised in Northern Nevada and have a first-hand understanding of the community and the gaps in medical care in the area. Because they love this area so much, they wanted to find a way to give back and improve the quality of life for Northern Nevadans. With Julie being a long-term infusion therapy patient herself for many years, and Gary being both a clinical Pharmacist and MBA, together they identified a need for better care, and care that is more cost effective – that’s when Nevada Infusion came to life. From day one, Gary and Julie have been working to give patients the very best experience and outcomes possible through individualized care, personal experience, building unique and trusting relationships with each patient (and often their family members), and the very best Home Infusion Team in the industry.

OUR APPROACH

Our biggest strength is superior service. We are unique in the Northern Nevada community because we are big enough to make a difference but small enough to provide a tailored treatment plan for each patient we see. And, because we are a truly local and individually owned business, we are able to respond immediately. Our entire team puts the patient first and works tirelessly to give them the care and treatment they deserve every step of the way.

Our commitment

At Nevada Infusion, we make it our goal to find a way to say “yes”. We do not give up until we find a solution through collaboration and expertise, and we strive to achieve the best possible outcome for every patient.

ACHC Accredited

Accreditation is regarded as one of the key benchmarks for measuring the quality and service of an organization and allows healthcare organizations to demonstrate their ability to meet regulatory requirements and standards. Accreditation reflects an agency’s dedication and commitment to meeting standards that demonstrate a higher level of performance and patient care. We are proud to have earned our Home Infusion Pharmacy Accreditation in June 2017, and our re-accreditation in June of 2020 from the Accreditation commission for Health Care (ACHC).
